At its first meeting held from 16 to 18 November 2022 in Geneva, the Compliance Committee adopted 8 decisions contained in the annex to the report of the meeting (UNEP/FAO/RC/CC.1.10).
The Secretariat has followed up with Parties, through the Official Contact Points, Designated National Authorities and Ministries of Foreign Affairs, as requested by the Compliance Committee, inviting the submission of information as requested by the Committee in the decisions adopted at its first meeting.
Notifications of final regulatory actions
In an email communication to all Parties on 13 March 2023, the Secretariat transmitted to Parties a questionnaire on the identification of issues being faced by Parties in relation to the notification of final regulatory actions. Decision CC-1/3 of the first meeting of the Compliance Committee agreed to the questionnaire and invited Parties to complete it by 30 June 2023.
Exports and imports of chemicals listed in Annex III
Decision CC-1/4 requested the Secretariat, on behalf of the Committee for the purpose of facilitating the collection of information on challenges being faced with submitting import responses, to contact the Parties who have yet to transmit import responses for the chemicals listed in Annex III.
