Preparatory mission in view of the 6th Global Conference on the elimination of Child Labour and sensitization activities on addressing hazardous child labour and reducing risks of pesticide exposure

1. Strengthened technical and institutional capacity of FAO Morocco and agricultural stakeholders on child labour prevention in agriculture and pesticide risk reduction strategies.
2. Enhanced visibility of Morocco and FAO in the lead-up to the 6th Global Conference on Child Labour through collection and promotion of experiences, and good practices from the agricultural sector.
3. Identified technical assistance needs related to the Rotterdam Convention and pesticide management to support sustainable agriculture and protect human health and the environment.
