Highlights: The designated national authority (DNA) of Sierra Leone requested a training on the Rotterdam Convention targeting relevant staff and custom authorities. The training will cover topics such as the key mechanisms and actors under the Convention, the listing of chemicals in Annex III, the prior informed consent (PIC) procedure, and mechanisms for information exchange. Moreover, the status of implementation of the Convention in Sierra Leone will be discussed.
