Due to a high workload of notifications of final regulatory action to be reviewed by the Chemical Review Committee, the Bureau decided to prioritize the work of the Committee. The intersessional work focused on additional notifications of final regulatory actions for chemicals that were already under consideration by the Committee. These notifications will be considered by the Committee at its eighteenth meeting, together with notifications whose consideration has not been initiated or completed at the seventeenth meeting due to timing reasons. Additional notifications of final regulatory action awaiting review by the Chemical Review Committee will be considered at a future meeting of the Committee.
