The first meeting of the Chemical Review Committee agreed to recommend to the Conference of the Parties that chrysotile asbestos be listed in Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention and developed a rationale setting out how the criteria in Annex II had been met (paragraphs 91 and 92 and Annex I, part A and B, of document UNEP/FAO/RC/CRC.1/28).
The second meeting of the Chemical Review Committee agreed to the draft text of the decision guidance document (paragraph 105 and Annex I of document UNEP/FAO/RC/CRC.2/20).
